Welcome to Colombia! Upon arrival in Bogotá, a private transfer will take us to our luxurious hotel in the heart of the city. Sitting at 2,600 meters above sea level, Bogotá is a dynamic blend of colonial history, modernity, and cultural richness. The historic district of La Candelaria is home to vibrant markets, national monuments, and architectural gems. We will settle in at our boutique hotel, a beautifully restored colonial mansion, where we will rest and prepare for the adventures ahead.
Day 2
City Tour of Bogotá

After breakfast, we will set out to explore Bogotá’s most iconic landmarks. At Cerro de Monserrate, we will take in breathtaking views of the city below before visiting the world-renowned Gold Museum, home to the largest collection of pre-Hispanic gold artifacts in the Americas. We will wander through La Candelaria’s colorful streets, where colonial facades and lively cafés bring history to life. At Bolívar Square, we will admire the grand Primatial Cathedral and the National Capitol. A delicious local lunch will introduce us to traditional dishes like ajiaco and bandeja paisa before returning to the hotel.
Day 3
Bogotá - Zipaquirá Salt Cathedral - Coffee Region

After breakfast, we will depart for Zipaquirá, where we will explore the breathtaking Salt Cathedral, an underground masterpiece carved within a former salt mine. As we walk through its illuminated tunnels, we will admire intricate sculptures and experience its mystical ambiance. After lunch in Zipaquirá, we will head to El Dorado Airport for a direct flight to Colombia’s famed Coffee Region. Upon arrival in Armenia, we will be greeted and transferred to a stunning hacienda, where we will immerse ourselves in Colombia’s coffee culture and lush landscapes.
Day 4
Cocora Valley, Salento & Filandia

Today, we will explore the breathtaking Cocora Valley, home to Colombia’s national tree, the wax palm. Towering up to 60 meters high, these iconic palms create a surreal landscape you won’t forget. Stroll through lush cloud forests and take in breathtaking views of the Andean foothills. Next, you’ll visit Salento and Filandia, two vibrant towns famous for their colorful colonial architecture and artistic atmosphere. Walk along cobblestone streets, visit artisan workshops, and soak in the authentic charm of these coffee towns. Enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch before returning to your hacienda for a relaxing evening.
Day 5
Towns of the Mountain Range

Today, you’ll venture off the beaten path to the charming towns of Pijao and Buenavista. Ride through scenic mountain roads in a classic Willys Jeep, the traditional transport of the Coffee Region. In Pijao, a Cittaslow town promoting sustainable living, you’ll experience a slower pace of life, meet friendly locals, and learn about organic coffee farming at Café La Floresta. In Buenavista, you’ll be welcomed by a passionate coffee grower who will share their inspiring journey from coffee picker to producer. Savor a freshly brewed cup of coffee while taking in sweeping views of the valley before heading back to your hacienda.
Day 6
Cacao Tour at an Hacienda - Flight to Medellín

We will start the day by exploring Hacienda Bambusa’s cacao plantation, learning about the cultivation, fermentation, and drying process of cacao beans before they become chocolate. Later, we will transfer to Pereira’s airport for a short flight to Medellín. Upon arrival, we will be taken to our hotel in the trendy El Poblado district, where we will settle in and prepare for our exploration of this transformed city.
Day 7
Medellín & Comuna 13 Tour

Today, we will explore Medellín’s inspiring transformation. At Parque de la Inflexión, we will reflect on the city’s past before visiting Plaza Botero, where larger-than-life sculptures bring the square to life. A ride on the Metrocable will offer stunning views before we reach Comuna 13, once a troubled neighborhood, now a vibrant hub of street art, music, and community-driven projects. We will witness how hip-hop culture has empowered locals, transforming the area into a symbol of resilience.
Day 8
Guatapé & Piedra del Peñol

We will take a scenic drive to Guatapé, where we will board a boat to explore the vast reservoir before climbing the famous Piedra del Peñol. This massive rock formation offers breathtaking 360-degree views from its summit. After lunch in Guatapé, we will stroll through its colorful streets, where homes are decorated with intricate bas-relief paintings, a tradition unique to this town.
Day 9
Medellín – Cartagena de Indias

We will take a flight to Cartagena, Colombia’s Caribbean jewel. Upon arrival, we will be transferred to our boutique hotel in the heart of the walled city. Cartagena’s colonial charm, colorful facades, and lively plazas transport visitors to another era. We will spend the rest of the day exploring at our own pace, soaking in the city’s magical ambiance.

The Essence of Cartagena

After a delightful breakfast, embark on a full-day private tour (8-9 hours) to uncover Cartagena’s rich history and culture. The journey begins with a visit to Convento de la Popa, offering sweeping city views, followed by the formidable Castillo de San Felipe, a masterpiece of colonial military architecture.
Enjoy lunch at a charming restaurant in the historic center before strolling through Bolívar Square, Puerta del Reloj, Plaza de la Aduana, the Cathedral, and the Convent and Church of San Pedro de Claver, where history and spirituality intertwine.
