Welcome to Colombia! Upon arrival in Bogotá, a private transfer will take us to our luxurious hotel in the heart of the city. Sitting at 2,600 meters above sea level, Bogotá is a dynamic blend of colonial history, modernity, and cultural richness. The historic district of La Candelaria is home to vibrant markets, national monuments, and architectural gems. We will settle in at our boutique hotel, a beautifully restored colonial mansion, where we will rest and prepare for the adventures ahead.
Day 2
City Tour of Bogotá

Today, we explore Bogotá’s vibrant streets, starting with Monserrate Hill, where breathtaking panoramic views await. At the Gold Museum, we will marvel at the largest collection of pre-Hispanic gold artifacts in South America. Strolling through the cobblestone streets of La Candelaria, we’ll encounter colonial architecture, lively plazas, and historic landmarks like Bolívar Square. Later, a private transfer takes us to Andrés Carne de Res in Chía, where we indulge in an unforgettable meal amidst an eclectic and lively atmosphere.
Day 3
Bogotá – Leisure Day

Today is a day at leisure to explore Bogotá at our own pace.
For those seeking an adventure, an optional tour to the Salt Cathedral of Zipaquirá awaits. This underground marvel, carved into a former salt mine, is a spiritual and architectural masterpiece. After the visit, we will explore Zipaquirá’s charming town and enjoy a traditional lunch before returning to Bogotá.
Day 4
Bogotá – Pereira Coffee Region

After breakfast, we bid farewell to the capital and take a domestic flight to the heart of Colombia’s Coffee Region. Upon arrival, a private transfer brings us to a beautiful hacienda, our home for the next few nights. Surrounded by lush coffee plantations and rolling green hills, this UNESCO-listed landscape invites us to slow down and embrace the rhythm of nature.
Day 5
Cocora Valley, Salento & Filandia

Today, we will explore the breathtaking Cocora Valley, home to Colombia’s national tree, the wax palm. Towering up to 60 meters high, these iconic palms create a surreal landscape you won’t forget. Stroll through lush cloud forests and take in breathtaking views of the Andean foothills. Next, you’ll visit Salento and Filandia, two vibrant towns famous for their colorful colonial architecture and artistic atmosphere. Walk along cobblestone streets, visit artisan workshops, and soak in the authentic charm of these coffee towns. Enjoy a traditional Colombian lunch before returning to your hacienda for a relaxing evening.
Optional hot air balloon ride: The best way to appreciate the breathtaking beauty of the Coffee Region is from above the clouds. We will have a hot air balloon flight exclusively for us. We’ll start early in the morning. Upon arriving at the meeting point, we’ll see the balloon being inflated. Around 7:00 AM, we’ll be soaring through the sky.
Day 6
Exploring the Towns of the Mountain Range

Today, you’ll venture off the beaten path to the charming towns of Pijao and Buenavista. Ride through scenic mountain roads in a classic Willys Jeep, the traditional transport of the Coffee Region. In Pijao, a Cittaslow town promoting sustainable living, you’ll experience a slower pace of life, meet friendly locals, and learn about organic coffee farming at Café La Floresta. In Buenavista, you’ll be welcomed by a passionate coffee grower who will share their inspiring journey from coffee picker to producer. Savor a freshly brewed cup of coffee while taking in sweeping views of the valley before heading back to your hacienda.
Days 7-9
Pereira – El Nido del Cóndor

Leaving the Coffee Region behind, we journey to Nido del Cóndor, a hidden retreat perched on a plateau in the Central Mountain Range. Over the next three days, we will be surrounded by pristine nature, observing Andean condors soaring above breathtaking landscapes. Activities include guided hikes, wildlife spotting, and tranquil moments immersed in the serenity of the mountains.
Day 10
Nido del Cóndor – Jardín

Our adventure continues to Jardín, one of Colombia’s most beautiful heritage towns. Nestled among lush green valleys, Jardín captivates with its colonial charm, vibrant facades, and colorful plaza adorned with hand-painted chairs. We’ll explore the town’s scenic beauty, sip locally produced coffee, and absorb the warm hospitality of its residents.
Day 11
Jardín – Medellín

Today, we travel to Medellín, the “City of Eternal Spring.” Once infamous for its turbulent past, Medellín has transformed into a beacon of innovation and resilience. Upon arrival, we settle into our stylish hotel and have the rest of the day to explore at leisure.
Day 12
Medellín & Comuna 13 Tour

We embark on a journey through Medellín’s transformation, starting at Parque de la Inflexión, a poignant tribute to the city’s past. At Plaza Botero, we admire the whimsical sculptures of renowned artist Fernando Botero before riding the Metrocable for stunning city views. The highlight of the day is Comuna 13, a once-troubled neighborhood that has blossomed into a vibrant hub of street art, music, and community spirit.
Days 13-14
Medellín Flower Festival Experience

Today, we witness the world-famous Feria de las Flores (Flower Festival), an explosion of color, music, and tradition. The festival’s highlight is the Desfile de Silleteros, where flower farmers parade stunning floral arrangements on their backs, honoring a tradition passed down for generations. The city comes alive with cultural performances, flower markets, and lively celebrations. (Activities are subject to the event schedule.)
Optional Tour for Day 14 : Guatapéknown for its vividly painted zócalos (decorative lower walls) that adorn every building. We’ll ascend the 740 steps of El Peñol, a massive granite rock, for panoramic views of the breathtaking lake landscape below. After a traditional lunch by the water, we‘ll return to Medellín for our final evening in Colombia.In addition to the Guatapé tour, we can take a private 12-minute helicopter ride over the reservoir and the town to gain a different perspective of this wonderful and magical place.
Day 15
Farewell to Colombia

Our unforgettable journey through Colombia comes to an end. After a final breakfast, a private transfer will take us to José María Córdova International Airport for our departing flight, carrying with us cherished memories of this vibrant and diverse country.
