Embark on a unique journey through Chile, where history, culture, and natural beauty converge. Begin in Santiago, where grand avenues and historic sites tell the story of the country’s past. Explore Valparaíso’s vibrant hills and artistic streets before exploring awe-inspiring views of the Andes at the stunning Lakes District, discovering the charm of Puerto Varas and Frutillar, with panoramic views of Llanquihue Lake, Osorno Volcano, and the mystical landscapes of Chiloé Island.
Upon arrival from our flight in Puerto Montt, the southern landscapes of Chilean Patagonia unfold before us, as we are transferred to Puerto Varas. After we do our hotel check-in, this city, also known as the City of Roses, welcomes us with its charming German architecture, a legacy of European settlers.
Our exploration begins in Llanquihue city, discovering its rich cultural and natural wonders. In Frutillar, a charming town with strong German heritage, we wander past traditional wooden houses, artisanal breweries, and lush gardens that echo Bavaria’s old-world charm. Time permitting we can also visit the German Colonial Museum.
Day 2

Today, we journey around Llanquihue Lake towards the Osorno Volcano and its eternal snow-capped summit that rises dramatically above the landscape. At the ski center, breathtaking panoramic views stretch from Llanquihue Lake to the Pacific Ocean, a reminder of Chile’s staggering natural beauty.
For those seeking an extra thrill, an optionalchairlift ride offers an even higher vantage point, revealing a landscape shaped by volcanic forces.
As the sun begins to dip, we return to our hotel in Puerto Varas, our hearts full from an exploration in Chile’s stunning Lake District.
Day 3

Today, we embark on a shared half-day city tour through the historic hearts of Puerto Montt and Puerto Varas. We begin in the lively Angelmó sector, famous for its bustling artisan markets and traditional fishermen’s cove. After visiting the Monument to the German Settlers and the Cathedral in the Main Square, we continue north to the charming city of Puerto Varas, known as “The City of Roses.”
Explore the “Old Neighborhood” and the iconic Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus before strolling along the shores of Lake Llanquihue.
